Granny Smith Apples are a deliciously crisp and firm apple cuoltivar with a sweet yet tart flavor and light green nutritious skin.  They are commonly used in pie making because they remain tart and firm even when baked.  Granny Smith apples were first bred in Australia in 1868 by Maria Ann Smith and are today one of the most popular apples consumed in the United States (for very good reason!).

These apples are sourced by Greenhouse PCA, so they can come from a variety of producers that we work with based on which are the most fresh and flavorful at any given time of the year.
