Fresh Hass Avocados grown and harvested from Mentone, CA.  

Avocados have been an important food source for people in Central America and Mexico for thousands of years where we have records of them being cultivated from at least the year 500 B.C.

The name 'Avocado' originates from the word 'Ahuacatl' which means 'testicle' in the Nahuatl language, presumably because of the shape of the Avocado.  Fortunately, that bit of trivia is the only gross or distasteful thing about the avocado, everything else is absolutely delicious!
